Deep ruby to the eye, this wine has a nose of blackberry, vanilla and violet talc. It is juicy on the palate with raspberry and black cherry flavors. At the same time, there is a sense of substance derived from firm tannins and deeper notes of bittersweet chocolate, salted almonds and flint. The dark chocolate lingers on the palate with a pleasant finish.
