In Ribera del Duero we like to add the human factor to the other three universally recognized elements: climate, soils and landscape, which help us to understand the genuine character of a terroir and the multiple sensitivities that our winemakers substantiate in the different interpretations of their wines. Clara Concejo is a committed and hard-working woman who founded Bodega Vega Clara in 2005, a family project in Quintanilla de Onésimo.
But above all, Clara is a brave mom, who knows very well, from experience, that in life we don’t stop fighting when we achieve some of our dreams. Clara’s impetuous freshness and lively character are delicately transferred to her elaborations. Singular and magnetic wines, which claim the coupages and the terroir.
And to get to know this story, today we have an interview with its maker, in an appointment with Ribera.
